As many are aware, Hurricane Harvey has left parts of Texas in complete ruins. Many families have lost their homes, cars, relatives, etc. and are seeking shelter, help, love, and care. I have partnered with Midwest Food Bank (https://peoria.midwestfoodbank.org/home) to gather items and food that the victims of Hurricane Harvey are in need of. Some of the items they are in DIRE need of include, but are not limited to:
- Diapers
- Bottles
- Baby Wipes
- Baby Formula
- Hygiene Items (shampoo, body wash, soaps, deodorant, etc.)
- Toilet paper and paper towels
- Canned Goods
- New Underwear
- New Socks
- New Warm-Ups (men, women, children, & infants)
As previously stated, there are more items that are needed to help these victims. If you want to know what those are, just send me an email. I think the most needed thing right now, though, is prayer. Pray that the Lord will guide the volunteer workers and strengthen those who have lost homes, family members, etc. Pray that God will be shown to those affected by this tragedy. PLEASE do what you can, whether that be sharing this blog, donating money, or donating items. And remember to say multiple prayers for these victims. Show the love and care that they need.
